A Treasury of Trees

This book is as beautiful as its subject and as interesting as its author. Reading the text is like hearing the artist speak lovingly about her subject. The artwork is stunning, even in the small format. If you enjoy this book, be sure to see the actual drawings. I hope Linda Williams Palmer's work will inspire other artists to document their state's trees.

Linda Palmer's drawings of champion trees in Arkansas are simply beautiful. Her stories about finding them and talking to the people who have "known" them just make the book even more compelling!

Excellent book. Good descriptions of the trees and stories associated with them. My only complaint is she couldn't get all of the Champion trees in one volume.
