With respect to Volume Two readers may wish to be aware of two "choices" Jones' has made.
- Against the Classical main line he has chosen 10...Qc8
- Against the Fianchetto system with 7 Nde2 he has chosen 7...Bd7!? and 8...Qc8
Peter Heine-Neilsen's gives the more "mainline" recommendations of 10...Rc8 and ...Rb8 respectively on his twin video series - although the analysis is less comprehensive.

Very well done but would need and recommend both volumes at once

The Dragon is a fun opening to learn for black. Quality Chess Publications always puts out a first class book and this is no exception. I would say this two volume set was one of the easiest books to learn how to play. The move orders he puts in the book just make sense. Its a fun opening. I was playing the Najdorf but this has changed to a more concrete Dragon. Be sure to purchase both volumes as not knowing one volume leaves a huge gap in the dragon. By having both volumes you have the compete dragon for black and its very easy to learn the tactics. White is usually overconfident while playing the dragon and Gawain Jones shows that Black is certainly even. Really enjoyed these two volumes and have put them to good use with plenty of fun wins. Highly recommend.

( NOT TO MENTION THR RUSSIANS ) should have read this BEFORE MOVING INTO AFGHANASTAN. The tribes on the north west frontier have fought each other

and anyone else trying to pacifying them, since the beginning of time.

PARKISTAN IS SMART ENOUGH TO DECLARE IT TRIBAL TERRITORY, AND LEAVE IT ALONE.The book covers the historical aspects in an interesting way.

Very interesting history of a fascinating unit

I enjoyed this immensely. Full of local colour and very good in terms of historical detail. It really is an amazing tale of a unit first raised by the British during their time on the north west frontier of what was then India but is now Pakistan.It is sobering how little changed the general situation is in that region. Operating on the principle that it was best to set a thief to catch a thief, the British recruited local tribesmen to control the frontier and control their fellow tribesmen.

The author travelled to the region while preparing this - very brave - and gives a taste of the local colour. I would have liked this to be more tightly structured. But an informative and enjoyable read overall.

This is only a log book

Just FYI, This is NOT THE FULL BOOK. It just empty training log forms - which is great if that's what you're looking for. I bought the full book too (highly recommend it).

The full book has a focus on "peaking" your training over several months. The full book contains only a enough log sheets to cover a few of these periods. This book with nothing but logs covers roughly 3 times as many training periods.

I'm still reading it. But it is amazingly well structured. Explains really well the "hows" and "whys" of the training. It covers all your questions as you read it. It makes it extremely comprehensive for total novices.
Undoubtly a helpful tool when you have no idea of what to do to improve your level of climbing.

B. Hagen is an internationally acclaimed performing artist known as The Commander-In-Chief. She has already been featured as one of ten modern guitar gods by one of the leading music magazines in the world and is widely praised for her innovative songwriting, technical skills as a guitarist, and unique vocal range. Her historic guitar version of Zigeunerweisen Op.20 was listed in the Top 10 viral videos of 2013 in Guitar World Magazine. Now, I can eat vegetables and enjoy them

I have made just one soup, the one on the cover, and Oh My Gosh! This one easy and incredibly tasty soup was worth the purchase price. Carrie makes this so easy as she lays out the steps in a way that is easy to read and follow. She explains why you do the things she tells you and what can happen if you don't. Plus, she is funny as heck! Who'd thought, an entertaining cookbook.

My husband bought me this as a stocking stuffer, so I can't be a verified buyer. Additionally, these recipes are all about healthy and high fiber. You won't find cans or bags or boxes of ingredients to add. Also, to answer a question by another review, you will need basic kitchen appliances, copper, slicer, scale, etc. She uses a Vitamix (I do too). I have no idea how well a basic blender would perform.

A Must Have Cookbook for Everyone

Carrie has put together the most amazing collection of soups that you will ever try. Vegetarian or not - there's definitely a soup here for everyone. Healthy and creamy soups - pages and pages of soups that will fill your tummy, satisfy your taste buds and maybe even trim your waistline at the same time. Without a doubt, my two favorites are the Chicken and Mushroom Soup and the creamy onion soup. The best thing about the creamy soups is Carrie's use of coconut milk that it not only enhances the flavor of all the other ingredients, but is almost like taste of the tropics at the same time. Some of the recipes call for some unconventional ingredients, but Carrie does a great job of explaining what they are and how you use them. This book is a must have for everyone's cookbook collection - especially if you are a soup lover.

Best way to eat your veggies

Carrie Brown has delivered for us! I eat at least 10 servings of veggies a day and Carrie's soups are an awesome way to get more of them in here. This is a great cookbook for anyone who is eating to avoid starches and grains...you won't find a single flour, rice, or potato in here. Just delicious non-starchy vegetables in about 30 new recipes. None take a long time to prepare and cook...most are about 30 minutes total. And Carrie is super funny in her writing, so you get a chuckle as well.
